Last summer, I went on an amazing cross-country trip with a group of friends. We started our journey in New York City and made our way all the way to California.
One of my friends was the one who arranged the trip, booking our flights, accommodations, and planning out our itinerary. It was such a relief to not have to worry about the logistics and just enjoy the experience.
Before setting off, I made sure to pack some essentials in my rucksack. I made sure to pack enough clothes for the different climates we would encounter, as well as toiletries, a first aid kit, and some snacks for the road. I also made sure to bring my camera to capture all the amazing sights we would see.
As for food, we made sure to try local cuisine in each place we visited. From New York pizza to Philly cheesesteaks to California burritos, we indulged in all the delicious regional dishes. We also made sure to hit up local farmers markets to try fresh fruits and vegetables. And of course, we couldn't resist stopping at roadside diners for some classic comfort food along the way.
Overall, our cross-country trip was an unforgettable adventure filled with great memories, amazing food, and beautiful sights. It was truly a trip of a lifetime that I will always cherish.
