Put the verbs in brackets into Past Simple or Past Continuous.
1. It (BE) a fantastic morning! I (WAKE UP) and (OPEN) my bedroom window. The sun (SHINE) bright. Some birds were chirping in the trees. Then I cooked some eggs with bacon for breakfast. While I (DO) my morning exercises my mother (CALL). She (BUY) two tickets to Dublin! I (CAN NOT) believe my ears. What a great idea to spend Christmas in Ireland!
