When I was a young child, I always looked up to my older brother. He was my hero and I wanted to be just like him. However, as we grew older, I started to see a different side of him.
One day, he convinced me to go in for a prank that he had planned. I was hesitant at first, but I looked up to him so much that I went along with it. Little did I know, we would end up getting caught by our parents and I would be the one to get in trouble while he got away with it.
As we got older, my brother started to go back on his promises and let me down more and more. It was hard for me to accept that my childhood hero was not as perfect as I had thought. But I knew that I couldn't hold it against him forever.
I decided to make up for lost time and mend our broken relationship. I reached out to him and we talked things out. Slowly but surely, we started to rebuild our bond and trust in each other.
Now, we are closer than ever before. I have learned to forgive him for his past mistakes and we have both grown from the experience. I am grateful for the lessons we have learned together and the strong relationship we have now.
