Comrade Smirnov is going to Paris on business. He telephones the Intourist booking-office and asks when they have flights to Paris. The clerk says that there are flights to Paris every other day. Then Mr. Smirnov books a seat for a plane for Friday and finds out that the plane takes off at 10 a.m. on Fridays. I hope you had a pleasant trip. Mr. Brown: Yes, it was quite comfortable. Thank you for coming to meet me at the airport.
Comrade Smirnov: Hello, I would like to inquire about flights to Paris for my business trip. Clerk: Of course, we have flights to Paris every other day. Which day would you like to book a seat for?
