One day, as I was rushing to catch my train to work, I accidentally bumped into a stranger who was also in a hurry. To my surprise, instead of getting angry, the stranger smiled and helped me pick up my scattered belongings. We quickly struck up a conversation and I learned that his name was Alex and he was a fellow commuter.

As we waited for our train, Alex shared with me his passion for photography and I found myself opening up about my own interest in the arts. By the time our train arrived, we had exchanged numbers and made plans to meet up for coffee later that week.

Over the next few months, Alex and I developed a strong friendship based on our shared interests and mutual respect for each other. We would often meet up after work for photography walks or visit art galleries together. Gradually, our friendship blossomed into something more and before we knew it, we were officially dating.
