Owner: Hi, my pet has been acting lethargic and not eating much lately. I'm worried something might be wrong.

Vet: I see. Let's take a look at your pet and see what's going on. Can you tell me a bit more about their symptoms and when they started?

Owner: Sure, it started a few days ago. He's been sleeping a lot more than usual and not showing much interest in his food.

Vet: Hmm, that does sound concerning. Let's do a physical examination and some tests to see if we can pinpoint the issue.

(After the examination and tests)

Vet: It appears that your pet has a fever and may have an infection. I will prescribe some antibiotics and recommend some rest and plenty of fluids for the next few days.
